ESU is a trade union representing over 1,300 members in ESB and its subsidiary companies ESU represents Clerical, Administrative, Managerial and Technical staff in ESB and its subsidiary companies. ESU represents temporary, part-time and contract workers and is actively working to improve their position. ESU is affiliated to the ESB Group of Unions and the Irish Congress of Trade Unions.

The ESU is an energy Trade Union currently representing approximately 1300 workers in the Electricity Supply Board. We represent a wide range of categories, including clerical, administrative, managerial and technical staff in the electricity industry. The ESU has a network of local representatives across the companies where it represents it’s members policies. The ESU believes that it’s members must have a real say in the activities of their union. Through your branch you determine and decide the issues and policy of your union. You will be kept fully informed on all issues which affect you and your contribution will be listened to and acted upon.
